how do your commissions work?

General info:

1. My rate is US$10 per 1,000 words, paid through PayPal
2. Fandoms I write for:
1. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
2. Original Fic (dependent on prompt, content, etc)
3. Thinks I WILL write:
1. Non-con, dub-con, con
2. Underage
3. Incest
4. A/B/O
5. Mpreg
6. Forced feminization
7. BDSM
8. Blood
9. Body modification
10. M/M, F/F, F/M
11. …and much, much more, just ask
4. Things I WON’T write:
1. Vore
2. Heavy gore
3. Foot fetish
4. Genderswap
5. Scat
6. Pure fluff

Process:

1. Message me with an idea, we’ll talk about it and flesh it out, and I’ll let you know if I’m interested in working on it
2. We’ll agree on a word count and budget
1. If I go over the agreed upon word count because I got inspired and felt like writing more, I won’t charge you the difference
2. If an unforeseen issue comes up and I can’t reasonably fit all the content you asked for within the word count, I’ll let you know as soon as I realize it and we can discuss how to proceed
3. I’ll write a full outline of the fic and share it with you
1. If I have any concerns about fitting it within the agreed upon word count I’ll let you know and we can discuss
2. You can request changes to the outline and make sure it’s something you’re happy with
4. I’ll start work on the fic and give you an estimate of how long it will take
5. I’ll send you a preview of the first few pages, so you know I’m working on it and have the opportunity to ask for any final tweaks
6. You send the first 50% of the payment through PayPal
7. Once I’ve received the payment, I’ll continue work
8. When I’ve finished, you send the final 50% of the payment
9. After I’ve received it I’ll send you the fic, formatted as either a Google Doc or pdf, per your choice
10. A few days later I’ll post the fic to AO3

This is the process I’ve used in the past, and it’s worked well, but I can be flexible!  Just let me know and we can talk

Prompts vs Commissions:

Prompts

• I may or may not fill depending on what else I’m working on, may fill six months later when I rediscover it in my inbox, etc
• I take prompts in whatever direction I feel like at the time, and it may not be in line with what the prompter envisioned
• Length can vary wildly

Commissions

• If I commit to a commission I will fill it, and I’ll give you a time frame for doing so
• You have control over story, tone, and content, I’ll tailor the fic to what you ask for and discuss with you to make sure it matches your vision
• Length will be agreed on up front
